In 1938, W.W. Clyde formed Utah Service. Over the years the firm has expanded, focusing on the rapidly expanding professional builder market and the serious do-it-yourselfer.
The Creation of Sunroc
In 1996, the Clyde Companies purchased J & J Lumber and Building Supply, which had been doing business since the early 1930's. In 1999, Utah Service, Inc. and J & J Lumber and Building Supply were merged. After the merger, the company's name was changed to Sunroc Corporation.
Sunroc offers Garage Doors, insulation, lumber, trusses, decks and custom doors, as well as concrete, windows, and roofing materials in the Southern Utah market.
